Where are you located?

Our location is a bit off-the-beaten-path: we're on S LeJeune Road (SW 42nd avenue) off Calle Ocho (8th street), in a nondescript building with a parking lot underneath right next to the McDonalds. You'll have to take the staircase up to the third floor. If you see a LabCorp waiting room, fret not—you're in the right place. Keep walking till you see suite 305, then you've found the JoJo Tasting Room.

What are the different experiences available?

Currently JoJo TEA offers two experiences: The first is an intimate 60-minute guided tea tasting where we'll discuss the processing, origin, history, and centuries-old culture behind tea that comes to life with every cup shared. We also offer a Saturday Freestyle experience where you can order teas from our menu a la carte and learn to brew or have us brew for you.

Will any food be served as part of my experience?

No. This is an educational tasting, and we only focus on teas. There will be some sea salt roasted almonds to accompany the teas.

Do your teas have caffeine?

"Real Tea" comes from Camellia sinensis, which naturally contains caffeine. The guided tasting experience will include caffeine.

How much caffeine is in a cup of tea?

For a cup of 8 oz tea, it has about 26 mg of caffeine. For the reference, for a cup of 8 oz coffee, it has about 95 mg caffeine.

Is parking available?

Parking is available on the ground floor under the building, as well as on the street.

What about the dress code?

Please, no perfume or cologne. Wear what makes you feel comfortable and respectful.

Why bookings instead of reservations?

Bookings allow us to guarantee your reservations and better understand how long you plan to be with us that night. By eliminating no-shows, requiring pre-payment, and varying the price by time and day we are able to create a predictable and steady flow of patrons allowing us to offer a great deal more than would otherwise be possible at these prices.

I've scheduled the wrong date! What now?

Visit your Tock profile at profile.tocktix.com and select 'Contact' to email us. You can also email reservations@sipjojo.com with your Tock confirmation number of the reservation you wish to cancel and let us know the new date you would like to join us. We will check availability and do our best to accommodate you. Please note, we require a minimum of 7-days advanced notice for all requests to reschedule. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Can I reschedule or cancel my reservation if I am no longer able to come?

All sales are final and non-refundable. You may transfer your reservation to another guest, however, requests to reschedule or cancel a reservation are at the sole discretion of management. We kindly ask for a minimum notice of 72 hours for any requests to cancel or reschedule. For assistance, please email info@sipjojo.com

How do I transfer a booking?

To transfer a booking, log into your Tock account at profile.tocktix.com. Once logged in, select "Your Bookings" on the upper right. To transfer a booking, click the "Transfer" button next to the specific booking. Note, you can only transfer bookings to another guest who has a Tock account.
